Lighthouse Open for Soundcheck

The Point Wilson Lighthouse opens for regular weekend tours in May of each year. At this time of year, like many sensible land mammals, we're still hibernating. Dreaming of spring. But not this year.

This year we're rousing ourselves early to open for tours on Saturday February 27 and Sunday, March 1 from 11 AM to 4 PM for Soundcheck!

Was it the rising sun that woke us early? No! It was Soundcheck

Even as I write this, an all-volunteer crew is hard at work getting things ready inside the lighthouse. We're sprucing things up, both in the main exhibit space and in the gift shop. Whether you're visiting the area for Soundcheck or just because, stop by for an early peek at Point Wilson 2026.
