Picture Perfect

Updated: Aug 7, 2023

This past weekend, the usual schedule at the Point Wilson Lightstation didn't happen. We weren't open for tours as we usually are. Instead, Shiloh Lake Films relocated the station back in time and half way across the country to the state of Michigan.

The cast and crew were at the lightstation to film The Siren, a film about a young boy who explores his grandfather's mysterious history, the lighthouse where they live and the surprising creatures that live nearby beneath the surface of Lake Michigan.

The Lighthouse Society thanks the everybody from Shiloh Lake Films for their professionalism and for the complete respect they showed our lightstation. Such a fun time for guests, travelers and the cast and crew.
